Coach Paul Norris has been training and surfing for almost 30 years. In 2018, those years started to catch up with him and he found he was battling overuse injuries, spending too much time in the gym, and was uninspired to work out. Being a lifelong athlete that wanted to keep his gains, but not blow up his aging body. Paul needed something fresh, a routine that would keep him injury-free and able to enjoy the sport he loved - he wanted to Surf Forever!

Well… the hunt became a creation and the Surf Forever Program was built. With over 20 years of programming and coaching experience, Paul decided to create a program for himself and for surfers all over the world that want to be fit, injury-free, and want to surf for the rest of his life. Who is this program for?

This program is for anyone looking to improve their performance in the water, PERIOD. The SRF Forver Program was designed to help surfers of all ages and skill levels surf with more power, strength, stamina, endurance, while staying injury-free.

Where can I access the workouts?

You have a couple different options and they're all extremely easy! 1) Log into our website through your internet browser and select the SRF Forever Program from the drop down menu. Boom! What equipment do I need?

Not much! We designed this program with limited equipment in mind but some basic pieces should get you by for awhile. But it's recommended that you have a resistance band, stability ball, and a pair of dumbbells or kettlebell. If you have a TRX or some other equipment then you're dialed in. We will give you some equipment substitutions that you can most likely find around your house. For example, soup cans, water bottles and backpacks are easy substitutions for dumbbells or kettlebells.

How many workouts per week is the program?

The SRF Forever Program is 3 workouts per week. Every Sunday we will release the upcoming week's workouts. It's recommended that you take a day off inbetween workouts to allow for recovery.

What should I do on the recovery days between workouts?

SURF! Get out there and use your new superpowers! The goal of this program is to make you stronger, mobile, and more stuck to your board. We don't want you sore and feeling heavy everytime you paddle out and so that's why we feel 3 workouts/week is the perfect amount to improve performance.

How strong or experienced do I need to be to join SRF Forever?

Part of SRF Forever's magic is its scalability - everything can be modified. Beginners can simply decrease training reps or weight and more advanced athletes can increase reps or weight. We'll provide movement substitutions where necessary so everyone can benefit.

How much is the program?

The SRF Forever Program is only $25/month. It's a month-to-month subscription based service with no long-term commitment. A very small price to pay to improve your surf performance!

What's a standard workout look like?

In the SRF Forever Program, we cover all fitness components needed to increase your performance. A standard workout will be broken down into sections and you can expect to utilize at least 5 -7 of the components below. 1) Warm-up 2) Mobility, Muscle Activation, Movement Prep 3) Power/Strength 4) Balance, Dynamic Stability 5) Endurance, Conditioning 6) Animal Flow, Body Control 7) Hand-Eye Coordination 8) Breath Work 9) Static Stretching

How do I know I'm doing the exercises correctly?

Every workout and exercise comes with video demonstration, coaching cues, modifications and how many sets and reps to do, as well as how much rest time to take. And if you're still unsure, shoot a video and upload it to the SRF Forever Group and get some real-time feedback!

What happens if I start ripping too much?

Share your results, photos, and videos to the SRF Forever Group and get ready for all the praise and high-fives!
